The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2022 by Aesop, Eidesis is an Oriental Woody fragrance that embodies the brand's commitment to understated elegance and sophisticated simplicity. The composition opens with a fresh spicy blend of black pepper and olibanum, which creates a subtle tension against the aromatic petitgrain. As it settles into its heart, the scent reveals a warm spicy accord featuring cumin and sandalwood, before finally resting on a powdery base of cedar and vetiver that adds depth and complexity.
Apply Eidesis lightly to pulse points — the fresh spicy notes are vibrant and will project well from close to skin. The powdery base unfolds slowly over time, so give it an hour before reassessing its presence.
