The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2003 by Diptyque and crafted by perfumer Daniel Moliere, Tam Dao is an EDT that captures the essence of a serene temple experience. The fragrance begins with the fresh snap of Italian cypress and myrtle, leading into a creamy sandalwood heart layered with rose petals. As it evolves, spiced amber and Brazilian rosewood create an intimate warmth, culminating in a soft musky embrace. Tam Dao is both ethereal and grounding, making it feel like a second skin throughout the day.
Two sprays are sufficient for this moderate longevity and sillage fragrance. It develops best close to skin rather than filling a room, so aim for pulse points for a more intimate experience.
