The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2023 by Aesop, Gloam is a woody spicy fragrance that captures the essence of twilight, when shadows deepen and scents intertwine. Perfumer Barnabe Fillion has crafted this composition around powdery and yellow floral notes, which are contrasted with warm spices and earthy undertones. The iris adds a subtle depth, while the metallic accents create an intriguing tension against the woody base. Gloam is neither purely masculine nor feminine, embodying the unisex ethos of Aesop.
This fragrance blooms gradually on the skin, so give it time to develop. A single spray will suffice; the powdery notes are most noticeable close to the skin, while the spicy undertones linger longer throughout the day.
