The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2014 by Ajmal, a brand renowned for its mastery of perfume making in the Middle East, 003 Private Collection is an aromatic woody musk that blends fresh and warm accords. The fragrance opens with elemi and cardamom, creating a bright yet spicy tension before settling into a heart of rose and apple. A base of cedar, vanilla, amber, and musk rounds out the composition, adding warmth and depth. This scent is neither overwhelmingly floral nor woody, instead finding a harmonious balance between freshness and richness.
Given its blend of bright top notes and warm base accords, one or two sprays is sufficient to let both layers shine. The elemi and cardamom are prominent initially but give way to the musky and balsamic heart after about an hour. Best suited for daytime wear where it can evolve naturally throughout the day.
