The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2006 by Le Labo, Rose 31 is a Floral Woody Musk fragrance created by Daphné Bugey. The composition centers around rose, with cumin and vetiver adding an unexpected spicy-fresh tension to the floral heart. Cedar and guaiac wood provide earthy warmth, while musk and agarwood create a rich, powdery base that lingers long after the initial bloom of rose has faded.
One or two sprays are sufficient to capture the full essence of Rose 31. The spicy top notes dissipate quickly, but the rich rose and woody base will last through the day. This fragrance reads best close to skin rather than across a room.
