Launched in 2016, Classique Essence de Parfum by Jean Paul Gaultier is a composition that embodies the designer's signature blend of elegance and irreverence. Perfumer Daphné Bugey crafted this Oriental Floral scent with a distinctive accord of aldehydes and lactonic notes, creating an atmosphere that feels both fresh and warm. The fragrance opens with tangerine and ginger, giving way to a heart of orange blossom and jasmine sambac before settling into a base of vanilla, benzoin, and cashmere wood. This interplay of bright citrus and creamy sweetness makes it feel like two fragrances in one.
