The story behind the bottle.
Scandal Pour Homme by Jean Paul Gaultier, launched in 2021 and created by perfumers Quentin Bisch, Christophe Raynaud, and Natalie Gracia-Cetto, is a fragrance that defies the typical masculine formula. It opens with mandarin orange and clary sage, but it quickly shifts into an unusually sweet and honeyed white-floral gourmand profile dominated by caramel, tonka bean, and vetiver. This composition stands out for its rich and indulgent character, making it a standout in the crowded world of men's fragrances.
Apply one or two sprays to your pulse points for an immediate burst of sweetness. The caramel and tonka bean notes will linger close to the skin, so avoid over-application. This fragrance is best enjoyed in cooler weather when its rich warmth can be fully appreciated.

Christophe Raynaud
Architect first, craftsman secondChristophe Raynaud is a perfumer who describes himself as a craftsman with the sensitivity of an artist. He begins each fragrance with a raw olfactory block, working for hours to shape it as a sculptor would — first as architect, then as craftsman.
