Launched in 2022 by Jean Paul Gaultier, Le Beau Le Parfum is an Oriental Woody fragrance created by perfumer Quentin Bisch. This composition opens with the vibrant sweetness of pineapple and ginger before transitioning into a heart of iris and cypress, which adds a layer of complexity. The base notes include coconut, sandalwood, tonka bean, amber, and ambergris, creating a warm and enveloping finish.
Despite its rich and inviting scent profile, Le Beau Le Parfum has garnered sharply critical reviews from some fragrance writers who characterize it as overly sweet and aggressive, emblematic of mainstream perfumery becoming cruder to grab attention.
