The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2014 by Ajmal, 009 Oudi is a fragrance that embodies the brand's mastery of oriental woody compositions. This scent opens with woody notes and vetiver, creating an earthy foundation before introducing red pepper and cardamom for warmth and spice. The heart of patchouli adds depth and grounding, while the base notes of amber and agarwood (oud) bring a rich, smoky finish that lingers throughout the day.
Given its long-lasting nature, one or two sprays are enough. The scent builds subtly over time, so it's best to let it settle on your skin rather than layering heavily. It pairs well with cooler weather but can also be worn year-round for a touch of warmth.
