The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2012 by The Different Company and crafted by perfumer Bertrand Duchaufour, Oud for Love is a warm and complex composition that marries the richness of oud with notes of whiskey and caramel. The fragrance opens with the spicy kick of caraway and saffron, giving way to a heart of angelica and iris, which adds an unexpected freshness to the blend. The base notes of sandalwood, ylang-ylang, and agarwood (oud) create a deep, enveloping warmth that lingers on the skin.
Apply Oud for Love in light layers to allow its complex notes to unfold gradually. The spicy top notes are fleeting, but they set the stage for the rich and enveloping base. This fragrance is best enjoyed close to skin, where its warmth can be fully appreciated.
