The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2000 by The Different Company, Bois d'Iris is a Floral fragrance for women and men, crafted by the renowned perfumer Jean-Claude Ellena. This scent opens with an aromatic blend of iris and bergamot, creating a fresh yet earthy foundation. As it develops, notes of geranium and coriander add a spicy complexity, while narcissus and vetiver bring depth and warmth. The composition settles into a powdery base of cedar and white musk, offering a soft, enveloping finish.
For best results, apply Bois d'Iris to pulse points in the morning. The aromatic top notes will dissipate within an hour but make way for a warm, powdery base that lasts throughout the day. This fragrance reads better close to skin than from across a room.
