The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2001 by Ajmal, Expedition is a woody and powdery Oriental floral fragrance that captures the essence of exploration and adventure. The composition opens with bright citrus notes from bergamot and lemon, balanced by soft florals like iris and violet, creating an uplifting yet sophisticated atmosphere. As it settles, warm spices, patchouli, and cedar introduce a rich, earthy warmth, while ambergris and musk add a subtle depth that lingers on the skin.
Expedition's top notes are bright but fleeting. Apply it early in the day to ensure that the warm woody and powdery base notes have time to develop fully throughout the hours. A light spritz is sufficient; this fragrance layers well under outerwear, making it ideal for a full day of exploration.
