HeartThe Soul
The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2006, Cool Play by Lacoste Fragrances is an aromatic woody scent that blends freshness with subtle warmth. The fragrance opens with bright mandarin orange and bergamot, creating a vibrant citrus aroma that contrasts well against the earthy tones of birch leaf and juniper berries. As it evolves, coriander and pepper add a fresh spicy dimension, while violet introduces a surprising floral note. In the dry down, cedar, sandalwood, and vetiver ground the composition with their woody presence, complemented by vanilla, musk, patchouli, and amber for a powdery, slightly leather-like finish.
Cool Play has a strong initial burst from its citrus notes but settles into a more nuanced scent profile over time. Apply two sprays to your pulse points for optimal longevity; it pairs well with layered clothing in cooler weather as the woody base notes become more pronounced.
