The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 1984, Lacoste by Lacoste Fragrances is a Woody Aromatic fragrance for men that embodies the brand's French elegance and restrained sophistication. Perfumer Jean Kerléo crafted this composition to balance bright citrus notes with earthy woody accords, creating a scent that feels both fresh and grounded. The opening of lime, bergamot, and lemon gives way to a heart of lavender, clary sage, and basil, which adds a layer of green freshness and subtle spice. The base notes of oakmoss, vetiver, cedar, musk, tonka bean, and amber create a warm, earthy foundation that keeps the fragrance from feeling too light or fleeting.
Lacoste's bright opening notes fade within the first hour, so applying it in the morning ensures that its warm, woody base notes come into their own throughout the day. It pairs well with casual or professional settings, making it ideal for versatile wear.
