Launched in 1999, Lacoste's 2000 by Jean-Michel Duriez is a blend of freshness and warmth that captures the spirit of its era. Opening with a burst of grapefruit and pear, it immediately sets a bright, citrusy tone. The heart adds complexity through lavender and spices like ginger, coriander, and pepper, creating an aromatic tension. As it settles into the base, coumarin and oak moss ground the composition with earthy warmth, while amber provides a sweet finish that lingers on skin.
