Launched in 2003 by perfumer Olivier Cresp, Lacoste Pour Femme is a Floral Woody Musk fragrance that has become a staple in many wardrobes. The composition opens with a fresh blend of freesia and apple, tempered by the warmth of pepper and violet. As it evolves, the heart notes of jasmine, hibiscus, and rose add a rich floral depth, while heliotrope brings an earthy sweetness. The base is anchored by suede, sandalwood, cedar, incense, and labdanum, creating a warm and powdery finish that feels both classic and lasting.
Regularly recommended in enthusiast communities as an inoffensive, office-appropriate 'safe blind-buy' fragrance rather than for boldness or innovation, Lacoste Pour Femme has earned its place through reliability and versatility.
