Euphoria by Calvin Klein, launched in 2005 and created by perfumers Dominique Ropion, Carlos Benaïm, and Loc Dong, is an Oriental Floral fragrance that quickly became a defining scent of the 2000s. Its blend of pomegranate, persimmon, black orchid, lotus, champaca, mahogany, amber, and black violet creates a complex aroma that balances freshness with richness. Euphoria won the FiFi Award for Women's Luxe Fragrance of the Year in 2006, cementing its status as a mall fragrance staple alongside contemporaries like DKNY Be Delicious and Vera Wang Princess. Today, it retains a strong millennial nostalgia following, though some current enthusiasts note that formulation changes over the years have raised concerns about its consistency.
Euphoria's fresh spicy top notes, like pomegranate and green accord, are bright but fade quickly. The heart and base notes, including black orchid and whipped cream, develop slowly over time. Apply it to pulse points for a lasting warmth that evolves throughout the day.
