Launched in 2022 by Givenchy, Gentleman Eau de Parfum Reserve Privee is a modern masterpiece that blends the sophistication of French elegance with a bold twist. Created by perfumers Nathalie Lorson and Olivier Cresp, this fragrance opens with bergamot before diving into a rich heart of iris and chestnut. The base notes feature whiskey, woods, and amber, creating an irresistible boozy-iris combination that has been praised within the fragrance community as one of the standout modern designer masculine releases. This distinctive collaboration also involved a master whiskey distiller to emphasize its 'boozy' concept beyond typical amber-woody formulas.
