L'Homme Lacoste Intense, launched in 2018 and crafted by perfumer Michel Girard, is a Woody Spicy fragrance that balances bright citrus and fruity freshness with warm, woody depth. The opening notes of rhubarb and orange are crisp and energizing, giving way to a heart filled with quince, ginger, and jasmine, which adds an unexpected sweetness. As the scent settles into its base, vetiver, vanilla, and cedar create a rich, enveloping warmth that feels both confident and grounded.
This fragrance has a strong opening with its citric top notes, which last about 20 minutes. Apply it to pulse points for maximum impact as these areas will keep the scent warm throughout the day. The base notes bloom slowly over an hour, so it's best worn during cooler parts of the day or indoors where warmth can enhance its longevity.
