HeartThe Soul
The story behind the bottle.
Jean-Christophe Hérault crafted Match Point Cologne Eau de Toilette for Lacoste Fragrances in 2022, blending a fresh and vibrant aromatic profile with subtle woody warmth. The fragrance opens with the zesty brightness of rhubarb and orange peel, balanced by mandarin orange's sweetness. As it develops, lavender and gentiana lend an herbal depth, while clary sage adds a hint of earthiness. The base notes of cashmeran, vetiver, and ambroxan create a smooth, enveloping warmth that lingers on the skin.
Apply two sprays to each wrist and behind your ears. The citrus top notes are bright but fade quickly after an hour or so, making it ideal for daytime wear. Allow the fragrance to develop on the skin before stepping out — this will ensure you catch both the initial zest and the warm base notes.
