The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 1996 by Lacoste Fragrances, Booster is a refreshing aromatic fragrance for men created by perfumer Jean Kerléo. The composition opens with peppermint and eucalyptus, creating an invigorating freshness that is both crisp and green. This initial burst of energy is supported by citrus notes like grapefruit and orange, which add brightness to the mix. As it settles, Booster reveals a heart of basil and lavender, bringing a subtle herbal warmth before transitioning into a woody base with vetiver, sandalwood, and cedar. The inclusion of spices like chili pepper and nutmeg adds an unexpected kick that keeps the scent lively throughout.
Apply two sprays for a balanced experience. The peppermint and eucalyptus in Booster are particularly strong initially but will mellow out into a warm and spicy base over time. This fragrance is best worn during cooler weather when its refreshing qualities shine without overpowering.
