Launched in 2013 by Gucci and crafted by perfumer Jacques Huclier, Made to Measure is a composition that marries fresh spices with aromatic and woody notes. The fragrance opens with the vibrant freshness of Calabrian bergamot and lavender, which gives way to an intriguing blend of fruity and spicy accords like plum and cinnamon. As it settles, nutmeg and water lily add depth, while leather, amber, patchouli, and labdanum create a rich, enveloping base. This scent embodies the brand's legacy of combining refined elegance with innovative craftsmanship.
One or two sprays are enough — the bright top notes give way quickly to a rich base that blooms over time. Best worn in cooler weather when the spicy and woody accords shine brightest.

The nose behind A*MenJacques Huclier is a senior perfumer trained at ISIPCA who began his career at Haarmann & Reimer (now Symrise), mentored by Olivier Cresp and Pierre Bourdon, before moving through Quest and returning to Givaudan in 2003.
