Launched in 2014, Wind Wood by Mancera is crafted by Pierre Montale and weaves together a complex blend of woody, green, and powdery notes to create an olfactory experience that is both earthy and modern. The fragrance opens with the freshness of green notes and mandarin orange before transitioning into a heart of violet and patchouli, adding depth and warmth. Cedar and vetiver provide a sturdy base, while oakmoss and leather infuse it with a touch of rugged sophistication.
Wind Wood is best applied to pulse points for a concentrated effect. The green top notes are bright but fleeting, so layering it over a light moisturizer can help them linger longer.
