The story behind the bottle.
Incense Wood by Ajmal, launched in 2019, is an Oriental Woody fragrance that marries the warmth of incense with rich woody and smoky notes. The composition begins with saffron and pink pepper, providing a spicy contrast to the citrusy brightness of bergamot. At its heart, incense and olibanum create a deeply aromatic experience, while cashmere wood adds a soft, enveloping quality. The base is defined by patchouli, vanilla, and musk, which blend into a warm, balsamic finish that lingers on the skin.
Given its strong sillage and long-lasting nature, one to two sprays are sufficient. The fragrance develops best close to skin rather than in the air, so aim for pulse points like your wrists or neck. It’s particularly suited for cooler evenings when its warmth can be fully appreciated.
