The story behind the bottle.
Wisal Layl by Ajmal, launched in 2023, is a Floral fragrance that brings together the freshness of blackcurrant and apricot with the depth of rose and oud. The composition opens with bright fruity notes before transitioning into a heart filled with freesia and osmanthus, leading to a base of patchouli, musk, and frankincense that adds warmth and complexity. Ajmal’s mastery in perfume making is evident here, as this fragrance seamlessly blends modern freshness with traditional Middle Eastern sensibilities.
Given its long-lasting and strong sillage, one or two sprays will ensure that Wisal Layl stays noticeable throughout the day. The fragrance’s base notes take some time to bloom, so a light application in the morning allows for a gradual evolution through the day.
