The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2019 by Al Haramain Perfumes, Amber Oud Rouge is a composition that seamlessly blends warm spicy and metallic notes with the richness of ambergris and musk. The top note of saffron adds an unexpected zing, cutting through the warmth to create tension and intrigue. As the fragrance develops, jasmine and white cedar extract introduce a soft floral and woody character, grounding the experience in earthy comfort.
One or two sprays are sufficient — the saffron top note is bright and short-lived, making way for the rich base notes. This fragrance reads better close to skin rather than filling a room, so aim for pulse points and let it develop over time.
