Areej Al Oud, launched in 2021 by Al Haramain Perfumes, is an Oriental Woody fragrance that captures the essence of traditional Arabian aromatics with a modern twist. This composition opens with saffron and geranium, which introduce a warm, spicy character. The heart note of rose adds depth and complexity, while cypriol oil or nagarmotha brings an earthy undertone. The base notes of patchouli, guaiac wood, sandalwood, and musk ground the fragrance in rich, woody warmth, creating a scent that is both familiar and distinctive.
A single spray is sufficient to capture the essence of Areej Al Oud. The warm spicy and earthy accords develop gradually over time, so it's best not to layer on additional sprays too soon. This fragrance reads better close to skin than in a wide sillage, making it perfect for intimate moments or quiet reflection.
