Launched in 2021, Orris Wakan by Amouage is a Floral Woody Musk fragrance that marries powdery iris with earthy musk and woody undertones. Perfumer Julien Rasquinet crafted this scent for both women and men, drawing from the brand's tradition of using luxurious Middle Eastern ingredients while maintaining a contemporary edge. The composition opens with a soft, powdery note that transitions into a rich iris heart before settling into an earthy and musky base, creating a balance between sweetness and warmth.
Apply Orris Wakan with one or two sprays, as it builds gradually on the skin. The powdery top notes are fleeting but make way for the iris heart and musky base that develop over time. It's best suited for daytime wear when you want a scent that evolves throughout the day without overpowering.
