Launched in 2006 by Montale and crafted by Pierre Montale, Aoud Velvet is a Floral Woody Musk fragrance that seamlessly blends the warmth of oud with the softness of vanilla and powdery notes. The composition opens with tiare flower and ylang-ylang, creating an immediate sense of richness and depth. As it develops, agarwood (oud) provides a strong, woody presence while sandalwood and tonka bean add earthy warmth and sweetness. This fragrance is neither overtly sweet nor overpowering, striking a delicate balance between floral elegance and woody complexity.
