Roja Dove launched Apex in 2022 as a sophisticated Leather fragrance that seamlessly blends fresh and spicy accords with rich, woody undertones. The composition opens with bright citrus notes like bergamot and lemon, which cut through the warmth of cypress and pine needles. As it evolves, a heart of jasmine and patchouli adds depth, while oakmoss and leather create an earthy, almost rugged atmosphere. The base layers in ambergris and sandalwood for a lasting warmth that feels both modern and lasting.

Born and raised in Sussex, South East England, his career in perfumery began in 1981 when he joined the French perfume house Guerlain, working there for 20 years before leaving to set up his own companies RDPR and then Roja Parfums.
