Launched in 2004 by Aquolina, Pink Sugar is a Floral Fruity Gourmand fragrance that immediately became iconic. Created by perfumers at Givaudan and Shyamala Maisondieu, it features a vibrant opening of raspberry and orange, leading to the heart notes of cotton candy and caramel before settling into a warm base of vanilla and musk. This composition is known for its polarizing effect: while some find it irresistibly sweet and comforting, others consider it overly saccharine. Pink Sugar has garnered a dedicated fanbase nicknamed the 'Pink Sugar cult' and went viral on TikTok with users describing it as smelling like cotton candy and cherry. Its resurgence in Gen Z interest was further fueled by Ariana Grande carrying it in a widely-viewed Teen Vogue video.
Apply one or two sprays to pulse points — this fragrance blooms quickly but can be overwhelming in larger amounts. It’s best worn close to skin for an intimate experience rather than filling a room.
