The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2012 by Arabian Oud, Kalemat is a sophisticated Oriental fragrance for women and men, crafted by perfumer Jordi Fernández. The composition begins with the fresh tartness of blueberry and anise, which soon gives way to floral notes and rosemary, creating a balanced yet dynamic opening. At its heart lies cashmere wood, honey, and amber, blending into a warm, powdery musk that defines the base. This fragrance is a proof of Arabian Oud’s expertise in luxury scents, particularly those featuring complex woody and ambery accords.
Given its strong sillage and eternal longevity, one or two sprays are sufficient to ensure a lasting presence. The fragrance projects well from the start but takes about an hour for the full depth of the base notes to emerge.
