The story behind the bottle.
Attar Al Shuyukh by Ard Al Zaafaran launched in 2018 as a bold and complex fragrance that embodies the rich heritage of its Emirati roots. The composition opens with a fresh spicy blend of black pepper, lavender, clary sage, and rosemary, creating an immediate sense of energy and clarity. As it evolves, the scent transitions into a warm woody base anchored by cedar, vetiver, patchouli, and agarwood (oud), enveloping the wearer in a deep, comforting embrace.
Given its long-lasting nature and moderate sillage, Attar Al Shuyukh requires only one or two sprays to make a lasting impression. The spicy top notes are vibrant but fade within an hour, so the heart of lavender and clary sage will carry you through the day. It's best experienced close to the skin rather than from a distance.
