Arabians by Montale was launched in 2017, crafted by Pierre Montale to encapsulate the rich and complex world of oud and leather accords. The composition opens with cardamom and red thyme, bringing a fresh spicy note that contrasts beautifully against the warm, smoky presence of agarwood (oud). As it evolves, lavender and rose add layers of floral complexity, while patchouli and vetiver ground the scent in earthy warmth. Leather and ambergris introduce an animalic depth, rounding out a fragrance that feels both ancient and modern.
Apply lightly to pulse points — the oud and leather accords project well on their own. Allow it to settle for at least 15 minutes before stepping out; the initial spiciness fades into a more nuanced base that lasts through the evening.
