The story behind the bottle.
Agar de Noir by Areej Le Doré, launched in 2020 and crafted by Russian Adam, is a Woody Spicy fragrance that blends the intense depth of Russian culture with the luxurious mystique of Arabian perfumery and the subtle elegance of French fragrances. The composition opens with cardamom and arnica, leading into a heart of hawthorn and violet before settling into an enveloping base of Indian oud, Laotian oud, coffee, ambergris, and balsamic accords. This fragrance is neither traditionally feminine nor masculine but rather a unisex blend that embodies the brand's distinctive fusion of global traditions.
Apply Agar de Noir to pulse points for a warm, enveloping effect. The spicy top notes are vibrant but short-lived, while the rich base notes develop slowly over several hours. This fragrance reads better close to skin than across a room, so aim for a moderate application to let the complexity unfold gradually.
