Launched in 2018 by Areej Le Doré, Russian Musk is a chypre fragrance for both women and men, crafted by perfumer Russian Adam. The composition opens with fresh citruses like lemon and bergamot, which cut through the aromatic woods of fir and pine, creating an invigorating contrast. As it settles into its base notes, warm spices such as cinnamon and cloves mingle with musky accords and rich ouds, offering a deep, enveloping warmth that feels both modern and lasting.
Russian Musk blooms best when applied to pulse points. The fresh citrus notes are most prominent in the first hour but gradually give way to its warm musky base over time. It’s best enjoyed during cooler weather, where its rich and enveloping qualities can truly shine.
