The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2017 by Boadicea the Victorious, Abraxas is a Floral Fruity fragrance that embodies the brand's quintessentially British elegance and incomparable quality. The composition opens with bright bergamot and peach, creating an immediate sense of freshness and warmth. At its heart, tuberose, jasmine, and ylang-ylang form a lush floral bouquet, while osmanthus adds a subtle fruity sweetness that cuts through the richness. The base notes of amber, cedar, vetiver, musk, and tonka bean ground the fragrance with an earthy, animalic warmth.
Abraxas projects best when applied to pulse points — the wrists, neck, and behind the ears. The fruity top notes are fleeting, so layering it over a light moisturizer can help them linger longer. This fragrance is perfect for daytime wear, where its bright freshness stands out without overpowering.
