Launched in 2020, Envious by Boadicea the Victorious is a gender-neutral fragrance that embodies quintessential British elegance and heritage. The composition opens with bright citrus notes from mandarin orange and bergamot, which quickly give way to the lush and enveloping presence of ylang-ylang and jasmine. At its heart, Indian tuberose adds depth and warmth, while sage provides a subtle herbal contrast. The base notes of musk, amber, vanilla, and vetiver create a rich and sensual finish that lingers on the skin.
Envious has moderate longevity and sillage, so two sprays should suffice. The fragrance opens bright but settles into its warmer base notes after about an hour. It’s best worn closer to skin for a more intimate experience rather than filling a room.
