The story behind the bottle.

Scentsation editorial

Launched in 2008, Pure by Boadicea the Victorious is a chypre floral fragrance crafted by perfumer John Stephen. The composition opens with a bright burst of bergamot and tropical fruit, leading into a heart of jasmine and tincture of rose. This gives way to an earthy base of oak moss, sandalwood, and amber that reads as both fresh and spicy. The blend is quintessentially British, combining the crispness of traditional chypre with subtle floral and woody notes.

How to wear it

Given its long-lasting nature and moderate sillage, one or two sprays are enough to carry you through the day. The fragrance blooms slowly on the skin, so it's best applied early in the morning for a full experience.
