Launched in 2008, Energizer by Boadicea the Victorious is a citrus and aromatic composition crafted by perfumer John Stephen. The fragrance opens with bright citruses like grapefruit, lemon, and bergamot, creating an immediate burst of freshness. As it evolves, petitgrain and lime add a green, slightly spicy nuance, while vetiver brings depth and warmth to the woody base. This blend is quintessentially British in its approach — crisp and refined without sacrificing complexity.
Given its long-lasting nature, one or two sprays will suffice. The top notes are vibrant and immediate, so avoid layering too heavily at first — let the citrus freshness shine before it transitions into a warm, woody base that lasts throughout the day.
