The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2025 by Boy Smells, Hinoki Fantôme (2025) is a woody and aromatic fragrance that captures the essence of nature’s subtle contrasts. Created by perfumer Elena Valdivieso Ruiz, this scent opens with the fresh spiciness of cardamom and pear before diving into the heart of hinoki wood and cedar. The smoky and mossy base notes add depth and complexity, creating a composition that feels both grounded and mysterious.
This fragrance has a strong opening but settles into its woody and smoky base notes over time. Apply two sprays to your pulse points for best effect; it pairs well with layered clothing in cooler weather.
