Francis Kurkdjian crafted Wild Thistle in 2017 for Burberry, a brand known for its lasting elegance and iconic British style. This Floral Green fragrance opens with the freshness of green leaves and aldehydes, creating an invigorating and crisp effect. As it settles, jasmine and lily-of-the-valley mingle with geranium and galbanum, adding layers of floral sweetness and aromatic complexity. The woody base notes ground this composition, offering a warm, earthy finish that contrasts beautifully with the initial freshness.
Apply one or two sprays for a balanced experience — the aldehydic top notes are bright and immediate, but they give way to the more complex heart and base notes within about half an hour. Ideal for daytime, it reads best close to skin rather than across a room.
