Launched in 2023, Goddess by Burberry quickly became a sensation, thanks in part to its viral presence on TikTok where it was praised as one of the most complimented perfumes. Created by Amandine Clerc-Marie, this fragrance features a lush ambery-vanilla profile that opens with notes of vanilla and lavender, before settling into rich cacao and vanilla absolute. Despite its popularity, Goddess has been criticized for lacking originality, often compared to Guerlain Mon Guerlain. Yet, it remains a beloved scent, capturing the attention of fashion-forward individuals who appreciate its warm and comforting embrace.

Amandine Clerc Marie
Grasse-born, Firmenich-trainedAmandine Clerc-Marie is a French perfumer born in Grasse, where her mother also worked in the perfume industry. She trained at ISIPCA and spent more than ten years working alongside Michel Almairac before joining Firmenich in 2011 as a senior perfumer.
