Back to Black by By Kilian, launched in 2009 and crafted by perfumer Calice Becker, is an Oriental Woody fragrance that has become a staple of the brand's 'Arabian Nights' collection. This gourmand oriental is built on the indulgent notes of white honey, tobacco, and cherry, creating an aphrodisiac effect through its rich and warm composition. Often compared to other iconic honey-tobacco fragrances like Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille and Serge Lutens Fumerie Turque, Back to Black has cultivated a dedicated following, especially among those who seek the perfect scent for cold-weather date nights.
Given its moderate sillage and long-lasting nature, one or two sprays are sufficient. The honeyed notes will bloom quickly, while the tobacco and vanilla base notes will settle in for hours. Best worn during cooler evenings when you want a scent that feels warm and inviting close to the skin.
