The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2012 by Cacharel and crafted by perfumer Olivier Cresp, Noa Summer 2012 is a vibrant Floral Fruity fragrance that captures the essence of a bright summer day. The composition opens with mandarin orange and lemon, creating an invigorating freshness that feels like a burst of sunlight. This citrus zest gives way to the soft floral notes of sunflower, orange blossom, frangipani, and peony, which weave together in a delicate blend. Underneath this floral bouquet lies a warm musky base with hints of coffee and benzoin, adding depth and warmth without overpowering the lighter top notes.
Noa Summer 2012 is best applied in light sprays to the pulse points. The citrus top notes are bright but fleeting, so it’s important to allow time for the floral heart and musky base to emerge fully. This fragrance reads better close to skin than in a wide sillage, making it ideal for daytime wear or casual outings.
