Launched in 2018 by Cartier, Carat is a floral fragrance that bridges the gap between freshness and warmth. Created by perfumer Mathilde Laurent, it opens with green notes and pear, providing an immediate sense of crispness and brightness. This gives way to a heart of hyacinth, tulip, narcissus, lily, honeysuckle, violet, ylang-ylang, and mimosa — a bouquet that is richly layered yet never overwhelming. The powdery and sweet undertones, along with the fresh spicy elements, create a warm base that settles into white musk, making Carat both delicate and enduring.

Application Tips
Carat is best applied in two layers — once for immediate freshness and again after an hour as the floral heart begins to bloom. It pairs well with daytime activities but can also carry you through evening without becoming too heavy.
