The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2017 by Chris Collins, Danse Sauvage is a sophisticated unisex fragrance created by Marie Patricia Hurel. The composition begins with the warmth of cognac and plum, giving way to saffron, pepper, nutmeg, and chili pepper — notes that create a dynamic tension between sweetness and spice. At its heart, rose adds a floral softness, while cedar and agarwood (oud) provide depth and complexity in the base, rounded out by patchouli, amber, and vanilla. Danse Sauvage embodies an adventurous spirit, blending rich and exotic elements into a harmonious whole.
Apply Danse Sauvage in light layers — it builds on skin over time, with each note unfolding gradually. The spicy top notes are striking but fleeting, so a second application after an hour can ensure that the warm and woody base remains prominent.
