The story behind the bottle.
Sweet Taboo by Chris Collins, launched in 2019 and crafted by perfumer Nathalie Feisthauer, is an Oriental Fougere fragrance that embodies the tension between warmth and complexity. The composition opens with a vibrant blend of cinnamon and cardamom, creating an aromatic contrast before diving into the rich depths of cacao pod and coffee. A heart of geranium and vanilla adds a layer of sweetness, while tonka bean and benzoin anchor the base with a musky warmth that lingers on the skin.
Apply Sweet Taboo in light layers to allow its complex accords to unfold gradually. The cinnamon and cardamom top notes are fleeting but powerful, so focus on the warmth of the base for lasting comfort. This fragrance is best experienced close to skin rather than from a distance.
