The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2021 by City Rhythm, Manhattan is a fragrance that captures the essence of its namesake city. Created by Niles Ramadhin, it embodies the vibrant and energetic spirit of New York. The composition opens with a fresh green and ozonic accord from violet leaf and pimento leaf, which contrasts sharply with the warm spices like cinnamon and myrrh. This interplay creates a dynamic tension that mirrors the bustling streets of Manhattan. As the fragrance settles, woody notes of cedar and vetiver blend seamlessly with the sweet warmth of tobacco and vanilla, evoking the city's enduring charm and resilience.
Manhattan's top notes are bright but fleeting, so apply it in layers for maximum impact. The tobacco and amber base notes take about an hour to fully bloom, making this fragrance ideal for daytime wear when you want a scent that evolves throughout the day.
