The story behind the bottle.
Man Uomo by Zara, launched in 2017, is a fragrance that marries the sharp clarity of citrus and pepper with the warm embrace of cinnamon and woody notes. The opening burst of mandarin orange and lemon cuts through the air like a fresh breeze, while the heart notes of pepper, nutmeg, and cardamom add a spicy depth that keeps the composition lively and engaging. As it settles into its base, oriental notes and woody undertones create a cozy warmth, reminiscent of a well-worn leather armchair in an old library.
Man Uomo is best applied in layers — start with one spray to let the citrus notes unfold, then add another after an hour for the full spicy-woody effect. It reads well close to skin rather than projecting strongly across a room.
